I know bugger all about AOC’s and what not, I just drive the machinary, but I would expect that maintenance ops would need to be listed on some sort of compliance certificate and aren’t those certificates in the public realm???????

When you're tallying up the numbers for here where do the likes of Alliance, Airnorth and Cobham/NJS fit into the equation?

Correct Encore don’t, but Swoop does. Also Canada Jetlines and Lynx Air are missing from your list. It will end in tears for at least 3 of these LCC in the not too distant future

Never included Alliance or Cobham as they don't do much RPT, nor did I include the FIFO operators in northern Canada
Airnorth, well, more of a regional IMO, with a few jets, but too closely tied in with QF

Air North have absolutely nothing to do with QF. In fact they operate services on behalf of VA with their E190s.

I Had a application in since Feb, maybe earlier. Had a cold call yesterday seeing if I was still interested for a position. They sounded a little desperate. May have left it all a little to late to get endorsed experienced pilots!!!

Doesn’t surprise me. Maybe they’ll quietly send it out to storage in Alice Sorings……..

There's no shortage of cash from the primary investor, that's for sure.

As for prep, they're well on their way with pilot and cabin crew training underway, hiring marketing and IT ppl, AOC still in motion (but Im hearing getting close to finalisation). It'll happen!

Have they recruited the Head of Safety? Appears to be the last post holder position that needs to be filled. Apparently a few people have already moved including the recruiting person and others have turned down their offers.

One news article today said their first route would be Sunshine Coast to Avalon and an hour later another news item said their first route would be Sunshine Coast to Proserpine.
