As at 10.50am on a Sunday during school holidays in two east coast states, they have completed a grand total of three flights and currently have none of their seven jets in the air. Yesterday, the first Saturday of Victoria and Queensland school holidays, they were finished all jet ops by 4.15pm having completed 22 flights for the day.
They are going
5 per day SYD-BNE up from 3
6 per day MEL-SYD up from 5

There is one in the hangar in ML down near the JQ 78 I seen, been there for a few days and there is the one in SY near the tower that has not moved in a few days, I’m guessing the one near the tower could be the one they got last week as it has a different orange on the tail. Must of used someone off the street that couldn’t mix the paint correctly.

Notably, at their first attempt at running something even vaguely approaching a big boy schedule, with a grand total of 26 flights on the triangle, on-time departures fell into the dunny.

Morning flight out of BNE yesturday cancelled as the FAs handset broke. REX dont carry spares as that cost money....sighhh. 170+ pax couldn't be accommodated for days as loads so full on all airlines.
The facets of airline economics are far more complex than mere load factors. Yield is more crucial and none of us know that, and really can only make judgements off annual report financial figures not day to day load factors.

Thanks to Rex detailing their revenue for July in an ASX release on 2 August, you can calculate their RASK for jet ops for that month. It comes in at about $0.1125. That RASK was off the back of their claimed 86 percent LF for the month.
Flightradar24 suggests it did depart, hours not days late. Never let the truth get in the way of a good story though 😂
