CHARTER FLIGHT SHORT NOTICE

Hello. Where's best to charter a plane for 5 passengers for tomorrow evening for 21.30 from London City to Southend?

Have you checked that London City is open at 21:30 on a Saturday?
A lot of detail missing, such as what sort of aircraft, twin/single/piston/turboprop/jet.
City is quite restrictive about what type can operate there.

True, if it has to be by air then a helicopter would seem to make most sense.

All true, plus I think the cost would come as a shock. LCY is extremely expensive. Also, I think everybody is really busy at the moment and it might be difficult to find anything at short notice regardless of price. I know nothing about the helicopter biz so that might be an option as suggested by someone else above.

Not possible

LCY will be closed Saturday afternoon. Single engine aircraft not a possibility I believe. A very expensive journey from LCY to SEN.

Have you spoken to the Vanguard Helipad on the Isle of Dogs?

I think it may be out of hours for them though.

Car, obviously. If you’re bothered about image then a fancy Uber / minibus will take care of that.

cannot fathom why you’d possibly want to hire a plane for that.

Tell Greta to cycle ! Seriously its a no brainer , fastest way and more thrilling than flying if there is little baggage would be a motorcycle taxi .

Charter your own private yacht on the River Thames this summer with Illuminate London | This Month | What's On | Luxury London (no affiliating with this company, they just seem to have some fancy yachts )

Goodness !

LCY is closed lunchtime Saturday to Lunchtime Sunday. Always has been since it opened.

Helicopters are banned at LCY. Always have been.

There are no based business charter aircraft there.

The A13 road now has no traffic signals from Canary Wharf to the outskirts of Southend.

Also, if it's not a private jet at Southend, what exactly departs there at midnight after you have checked in and waved your covid tests at border control?

Enjoying Laurence Stroll getting his 139 to take him from Wantage to Oxford. 20 miles by road but his heli does it several times a week.

Guess if you can, you do.

Well, the journey should already have happened by now and the original poster never bothered to come back on here.
