Sharp on 126.7
Sharp on 126.7
A number of people were over transmitted today by Sharp 495 with their “Beverley Base” chatter on 126.7. Aircraft that were stepped on included us, a Rex crew who were trying to organise separation into YBHI, some circuit traffic at YWKI, and a FlyDoc (didn’t catch their location due to the interruptions).
I’m surprised that an airline chooses to use an already known congested CTAF frequency for their “general Ops chatter” at a mine site.
Do they have a company frequency that they are choosing not to use?
I’ve heard them chatting away going in/out of Beverley before but today was particularly disruptive, hence the genuine query.
(I’m not taking ETAs, more like “hey Bruce nothing for you today mate”, pax loads, etc)

According to the ACMA DB they are allocated 127.475 at various locations but Beverley isn't one of them:
