AOC RENT
The deal would have to include 'renting' the nominated responsible post holders within the AOC organisation. The AOC itself is just the piece of paper that results from having everything else in place before the certificate is issued to ensure a safe operation. You would effectively have to purchase the organisation which holds the AOC and even then the CAA would maybe need to approve your ownership.

It is not lawful to "rent" an AOC in EASA land. You may place your aircraft under the management of a company holding an AOC and , to a degree, commercialise it yourself, but "renting the ticket" is a no no.

You can "operate" under someone else's AOC but they remain the operator and as such maintain operational control of the aircraft.
Cast your mind back to the days of Airworld, Sabre, easyJet - all flew on Air Foyle's AOC.
