44 Door Pic

Hey all

Can I ask anybody with a 44 to please take a couple of pics of the front door opening mechanism (inside the door at front).

Better still would be some pics of door closed and open - better even still would be a quick video?

Its for a well known flight simulator and a freeware project so all help gratefully received and many will benefit!

thank you in advance

BL

If you want an authentic sim don’t worry about the doors, get some videos of blade delamination and random fires for a “positive” landing
You can fix it later, just put some warnings in the release notes.

Robbys are best flown without the doors.

no but so many Robbie-fans are very thin skinned and sensitive types who love to take a ride on the outrage bus from time to time

the smell of Jet-A1 and testosterone is quite over bearing in here..

So as I see it.....

the twin engines look down on the single turbines and do not want to admit the single pistons exist
single turbines look down on the single pistons but look up to the twin engines
the single pistons look up to the other two but keep getting buckets of muck thrown from above.

it all reminds me of a monty python sketch

I have seen it in yachts but didn't know it also existed here

Many thanks to the chap who has dm'd - really appreciate your help

You don’t even have to try wind them up, the merest breeze in the general direction just sets them off and provides hours of entertainment.
Poor little fellas, bless their cotton socks

ok this is the part in question - joins the door to the body - softens the opening closing. This is what I need 44 pics of and as you can see its very detailed work so the better the image the better ppppplease!

Goodness, I guess weed isn't legal in that state
Meanwhile, have a look at this link, it's not hi-res pics but Robbie have a lot of docs on their site such as the illustrated parts catalog.
Here are doors and windows:
https://robinsonheli.com/wp-content/...r44_ipc_52.pdf
Gives you an idea of how they are all assembled.

BigLittle - I can't help with pics, but if you are anywhere near a flying school that operates the R44, i'm pretty sure they'd be happy to let you look around and photograph one on the ground if you tell them what it's for, and you'd then be able to get the exact shots you need (but do ask before wandering into the hangar!!!)
