What if the land owners dont want the lights putting back in should the airport ever get close to reopening?

It seems a very permanent removal rather than just storage which is being claimed.

It's a great site for a New Town - in fact Peel already have planning permission for land just South of the airport for apartments, shops restaurants etc.

This will be the way forward IMO

I've said before, but there is no way a CPO will be succesfull, so it really is game over.
