Knocking the buildings down will save a fortune in business rates. Unsure if other organisations own some of the hangars, or rent the land?

Either way someone will have to pay the government rates...

I think someone will still have to pay business rates even if the buildings are empty. Tenants or the airport owner?

That will cost a bob or two.
