They aren’t going to bring a 757 into EDI for one flight (not a 757 base so no crews etc), especially as most are planned to be gone by then and the few that remain will be tied up at LGW/MAN/BHX....

They used the 738 on this route before so it is capable. The MAX is also planned to be based at EDI upon its return so it will likely be that, definitely not a 757.
