Cathay are doing great at DUB and they have all 3 of the main ME carriers. Surely the market size in Scotland and Ireland is roughly the same, I’m sure Cathay would fare far better at EDI than Hainan...

The business class on the 787 was often full hence the upgrade, the flight does really well with cargo too. Economy passengers are just a bonus.
