True, they're over 260k already if you include their civilian contingent. Their total SP figures are roughly the same as ours at c185k but the point is they are expanding, we are not. I'm lead to...

Yet the Bundeswehr is planning on expanding to over 200k SP by 2025, whilst we continue to downsize.

To be honest, there are a fair few out there who would happily take redundancy if it was offered. The perks and conditions seem to be in a race to the bottom so probably worth punching out sooner...

Funny you should say that, you've just reminded me of an exercise in BATUS a few years ago where an armoured BG (in particular CO's Tac) was given the runaround by a few sniper and NLAW OPFOR teams...

I'm not entirely convinced they use the same TTPs and planning tools as NATO forces. Most of the footage I've seen I've wondered why they have chosen that route, at that height.

You'd like to think they'd uplift the total number of AH, given the Ukraine scrap has so far been predominantly armour centric. Maybe some more tanks to hold the ground outside the urban areas too.
