My point was that just because you can book a flight for a certain date, doesn't mean they will actually go ahead.
My view is that there will be no holiday flights to Spain on the 17th of June.

There are 40+ overnight stopping aircraft at EDI in the summer period, so I don't think one extra easyJet unit is going to make much of a difference.

Any form of growth at this stage is good news, at a time when a lot of airports are either flatlining or declining.

Agreed. But that would effectively mean accepting that the taxiway isn't suitable, and maybe that's something that the airport operator aren't prepared to do.
