Spoke to the some of the recruiters a few days ago. Qantas looking at 250+ Pilots per year needed for the next ten years given retirements and growth in the industry.
Happy days for pilots already...

The Hourly rate is more on the 787 than the 747.
Roughly 87% of 747 pilots voted for the EA that was to be their replacement type. Junior A380 pilots likewise.
Surely you’d get killed in the rush...
