when you say you have 4000 hours part 121 time, do you mean 4000 hours part 121 time under a US FAA certificated part 121 carrier?

Or do you mean part 121 time from a different country?

How is it not accurate? Every carrier that I know of that has hired E3’s puts every person through the relevant courses and atp ride on the company dime.

Can you elaborate what isn’t accurate?

after sims are completed, generally speaking you are paired with a check airman for an entire trip.

IOE usually takes anywhere between 15-40 hours worth of flight time depending on the carrier.

I don’t think you’ll be able to get an E3 visa with a basic CPL. Not to mention unless you meet ATP mins, there’s a whole lot more training to get an FAA CPL.

take a look at part 61 regs in FAA.

There’s plenty of not so great operators in the US, but a lot of great ones try at take E3’s. Just do a little research and choose wisely and they won’t look back.

In the US it’s irrelevant if you’ve been flying Boeing, Airbus or any other manufacturer of jet.

you still have to go through the same initial Part 121 course as any other new hire.

This is bad advice.

back in 2015/2016 most of the examiners were new to foreign license conversion ATP rides. Now they’re well versed most examiners know the FSIM’s requirement for a current IPC.
