Why? Is a £7 charge going to decide whether somebody flies or not (cue mass chorus of "yes" from outraged Ppruners). If you can afford to fly, you can afford £7. Airports need to make money.

would it? depends on what agreement is reached. Just because you have a UK AOC doesn't mean you will have the right to operate from the UK to anywhere in the EU whenever you like.
