Specs for airfield signs
Hi,
Having decided to use Aerops for contact free landing fee payment etc, I want to make up a sign which also includes the Black C on a Yellow Square.
Does anyone know of the specifications for this: i.e. RAL number for the yellow, size of square, and typeface for the C?
CAP 637 gives all the signs on airfields, but no specifications.
Many thanks

Colours are specified in ICAO Annex 14 Appendix 1 (in a not very user-friendly way).
The characters are also defined Annex 14 but in Appendix 4 (no named font, just drawings).
Size seems to be a matter of choice.
Latest Edition is 2018
You can find free versions searching for ICAO Annex 14

You need a copy of the Apron Markings and Signs Handbook (As amended) published by the Airports Council International
The document is intended as a "Best Practice" handbook to be used by airport staff, in addition to local regulations.
Complies With ICAO Annex 14 and is what I used when I need some specs for signs and markings
Not sure where you'd get one these days
