They can't be stony faced with masks on...

Bit of a tenuous PPRUNE kind of thread though

Let's just say that certain demographics don't like to comply and if you've been through LHR's Passport Control (and / or visited the Passport Office in London) you'll know only too well what I mean wrt the 'demographics'. It's the same non-compliance problem in various cities within the UK, i.e. cities with large populations of certain demographics that has been driving the high levels of Covid19 infection within those cities. Furthermore, and somewhat ironically (i.e. given that Covid19 disproportionately affects those demographics) it's also those same demographics of whom 72% are reportedly refusing the Covid19 vaccine. But you won't see the MSM reporting on non-compliance by particular demographics ('coz it's not PC to mention it)... go figure?!

At their desks they are presumably behind screens, so not required. However, if they are moving about the terminal, Is would suspect they are technically in breach of the regulations.

The Truth is rarely PC and not for reporting as it is always seen as biased.
Here in the W Mids its surprising how many Supermarket shoppers in those 'demographs' must be 'exempt' from wearing face masks. And don't even think of pointing it out to their Security. Complete WOT.

They can’t work the elastic bands around the turbans, it’s pretty easy to see.

The UK is not taking compliance seriously.
During the lockdown where I live in Euroland anyone going out had to carry an authorisation with name, address, reason (tick the box) and time.
Try telling an armed "militaire'" that you won't wear the compulsory mask because of "demographics" and see how far it gets you.

Well I don’t consider it to be old news. Everyone in the aviation sector has been affected by Covid and to see these individuals thinking they’re above the law sickens me.
