Do not know about NQY but a few Ospreys / Chinooks/ around Si Ives area plus loads of plod jet ski's and ribs of all sizes. Rather foggy for a couple of days. Warship in the bay and Hayle Harbour like a water bus depot.

A South African AF B737 and a Korean AF B744 have just arrived at NQY and a German AF and Italian AF A319's arrived earlier today, plus various long range biz jets with who knows who on board. I'm sure that there are more than that. How much space is there parking wise to give everyone room on the aprons at Newquay ?

The E-3 Sentry was from the French AF, which whilst nice makes you wonder why the RAF's Sentry(s) couldn't have done the task bearing in mind it is the UK hosting and providing security.

Neither South Africa nor South Korea are in the G7.

Australia, South Africa, South Korea and India are the four guest countries with observer status at this year's G7 summit.

Are their leaders present or just observers. Not heard any mention of them in news reports and no evidence of any of them in the photo ops.

The Independent says "Australia’s prime minister Scott Morrison, South Korean president Moon Jae-in and South African president Cyril Ramaphosa will all attend as guests, while India’s Narendra Modi will participate via Zoom due to the ongoing coronavirus crisis in his country"

Covered by many of the broadsheets around the world, and the BBC.

Well. I take The Times and the Telegraph, but it passed me by.
As one of the big things to discuss is climate change, it seems a poor advert to fly halfway around the world to sit at the back of the room, couldn't Japan, South Korea and Australia have met up somewhere and shared!

Hopefully not reminiscent of that scene from Top Gun back in the 80's with Tom Cruise in his F-14 ;-)

There should be some activity today with various guests and their entourage's heading off elsewhere, then it's back to Easyjet and tourists again.
