A new medium transport helicopter fleet for the Federal Police of Germany

https://ausschreibungen-deutschland....uber_2021_Bonn

Seems that today 11h30 was the closing date for the bidder selection portion of the a. m. tender. For those of you where their German got a little rusty it says that the intention is to buy 39 (+ 5 in option) up to 12 t MTOW medium transport h/c within the next ten years. As tenders of such size are rare I presume that at helicopter merchants around the world the saliva started to dribble, when reading it.

But II.2.1 requires the EASA TC to be submitted at the time of the best and final offer .
And IV.3.4. Sets the final date of offer to be Aug. 2nd.

Naaah, there will be a small note signed and stating “IOU”… I hope that bell didn’t start by certifying it in the CS27,… CS29 later 😂 ***429

IOU will not work...... They have stood back and seen how an IOU works with NPAS.....

Fixed wing with FIKI on an IOU destroyed the project and the dodgy finances of the organisation ..... rumour suggests that four £800,000 P68s came in with a total bill north of £40M...

That sort of error concentrates the mind.
