Jet2 Loss of Licence Insurance
Hi Folk, Just a quick question:- What are the terms and conditions in Jet2 for a pilot who loses his licence, either permanent or temporary.
I had some problems with bmi many years ago and a threat of legal action was needed to get them to cough up.
Many thanks

There isn’t any LOL cover. There’s five years income protection provided by the company (paying about £2300 pm) for five years then it will stop.
You can pay on top of the premiums yourself to a max payout of 85% of your salary, which will cost you about £600 a year if you are 40-ish.
There is also life insurance at 3x basic salary.
