UK EMIRATES roadshow...

Here we again.."Come and meet the Pilot Recruitment team to find out more about our recruitment process, about being an Emirates pilot and living in Dubai.

You don’t need to register, simply join an information session at 10am or 1pm at one of the locations below in the UK.

Thursday 11 August – Double Tree by Hilton, Manchester Airport

Friday 12 August – Hilton Garden Inn, Luton North Airport

Saturday 13 August – Crowne Plaza, Gatwick Airport, Crawley

Requirements

To qualify for this opportunity, you will need experience on multi-engine, multi-crew aircraft with:
  • Minimum of 2000 hrs on MTOW ≥ 20T OR Minimum of 3000 hrs on MTOW between 10T & 20T
  • A valid ICAO ATPL with an unrestricted class one medical certificate issued by the same authority
  • English language fluency to ICAO English level 4 or above
  • Flown at least 150 hrs within the last 12 months at time of joining on an aircraft with MTOW ≥ 10T


Roster, Hours & Routes
  • Emirates Passenger - A380 & B777
  • Contract type: Open-ended
  • Roster Pattern: Full monthly roster with minimum 8 days off
  • Average Annual Hours: 800 - 900


Routes
  • 24-hour operation
  • Mix of turnarounds, long haul and ultra long haul
  • Trips are single or multi sector and can be 1-9 days in duration
  • Layover periods are generally 24-48 hours
  • Days off are in Dubai


Pay & Benefits
  • Emirates Passenger - A380 & B777
  • Basic salary + flying pay per month
  • AED 30,826 (approx. USD 8,393)
  • based on avg. 85 hrs / month


Accommodation Options per month

A). Company provided accommodation (subject to availability)

or

B). Accommodation Allowance of AED 15,500 (approx. USD 4,220)

Available for local recruits currently in privately purchased or rental accommodation or employees who purchase property in Dubai



Education Allowance (Dubai based or overseas education)
  • Primary school:Up to AED 42,750. The company reimburses up to AED 21,375, then 90% of the balance per academic year.
  • Secondary school:Up to AED 65,250. The company reimburses up to AED 32,625 then 90% of the balance per academic year.
  • Provided for families with up to 3 children aged 4-19 (all numbers are per year / per child and are subject to benefits policy)
Productivity pay: AED 515 (approx. USD 140) for each block hour above monthly target

Annual Leave: 42 calendar days

Additional Benefits
  • Provident Fund or End of Service Benefits
  • Pick up and drop off to and from duty (from your home in Dubai to the airport)
  • Platinum discount card (significant discounts across leisure, retail and service providers)
  • Eligibility for an annual profit share
  • Company uniform & dry cleaning in Dubai

How did Emirates fair in Covid? Did they make many redundancies and if so, what were the selection criteria?
