They only show that rescuing people isn't as easy as some think, even when you have had some training, so doing it with none is inviting disaster
Perhaps the R44 pilot subject of this thread was inspired by this video, as I implied earlier, some times when confronted with a situation you have to be adaptable, justinga above said a boat was on scene, it should have been left to them if that was the case. Some times folk are inclined to rush in and be the hero without due consideration of options, often referred to as a rush of blood.
