Out of interest, are Qantas Group entities permitted to hire pilots that are not currently part of the group whilst group pilots are stood down?

NJS crew may be about to have a similar argument. PER and CNS crew are being relocated and potentially stood down in new bases - replaced by larger aircraft as an economic decision.

Network are going to start operating PER-DRW/ADL. Much cheaper crew then those pesky 737 folks
